2012+ Focus N/A and 2013+ Focus ST Boomba Racing Solid Shifter Bushings
Boomba Racing shifter base bushings are a direct replacement for the OEM rubber bushings. Once installed, they completely eliminate excess movement in the shifter assembly, creating a much more precise and exact shifting experience.
These bushings are precision CNC machined from high quality aircraft grade billet aluminum and are available in 4 different colors: Natural Aluminum, and Red, Black or Blue Anodized.
These are a direct replacement for the Focus N/A 5 speed shifter base and the Focus ST Shifter Base.

FORD FOCUS ST SOLID SHIFTER BUSHINGS 1 Remove plastic vacuum hose from rubber adaptor on the top of valve cover (leave rubber adaptor in place). Remove the right cover panel completely. 2 Open the left cover panel and pull it to the side. 3 Remove the shift knob. 4 Pull the shifter cover up to release rear latches. 5 Using a large flat screw driver gently pry on the shifter cover to release the three front latches. Remove the shifter cover. 6 Remove the trim panel screws. 7 Remove the trim panel by pulling it up and to the rear of the car. 8 Remove the change holder panel by pulling it up and to the rear of the car. 9 Remove the parking brake cover. Pull front of the cover up first to release the cover latches. 10 Disconnect the power and the USB connectors. 11 Remove the center console front bolts. 12 Remove the center console rear bolts. MATERIALS REQUIRED None TOOLS REQUIRED M8 socket wrench Phillips screw driver M10 socket wrench 7/32 socket wrench Large flat screw driver 1 Remove plastic vacuum hose from rubber adaptor on the top of valve cover (leave rubber adaptor in place). 13 Remove the center console by pulling it back and up. 14 Disconnect the shifter cable links. 15 Remove the shifter base screws. 16 Remove the shifter cables. Pull the spring loaded ring away from the shifter base to release the shifter cable. 17 Remove steel sleeves from the shifter base. 18 Remove rubber grommets from the shifter base. 19 Prepare Boomba Racing solid shifter bushings. 20 Install the shifter cables. 21 Place bottom bushings under the shifter. Bottom bushing have larger diameter step and counter bore in the center. 22 Place top bushings over the shifter. Top bushings have smaller diameter step. Secure the shifter assembly to the floor. Reconnect the shifter links. 23 Install the center console. 24 Install the parking brake cover. Install the change holder panel. Install the left cover panel. 25 Install the trim panel and secure it with screws. 26 Reconnect the power and the USB connectors. 27 Install the right cover panel. 28 Install the shift knob. Turn the shifter knob in until the reverse lock stops catching on the shifter cover.
